DAWN HERMAN Dawn Herman is a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ. She has been serving the Lord for the past 29 years and desires to see men and women, through even the avenue of praise and worship, come to the saving knowledge of Christ. Dawn’s family migrated to Canada when Dawn was 11 years old. She has lived in Montreal, Quebec since then and has enjoyed a multicultural experience in her home city of Montreal. From the age of three, Dawn was encouraged to sing for the Lord and has been singing traditional and contemporary Gospel music from that time into adulthood. As a young teenager she participated in many youth activities; sang at youth conventions and often received awards for her singing. Dawn has been ministering in her home church as a soloist since she was fourteen years old. At the age of 23 she pursued a long time dream of studying music. She pursued this by taking her major in Music Education at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, USA. In 2000, Dawn produced her 1st CD called: Give Me Jesus. This project reflects the heart of Dawn, as her desire is to lead people in worship and see them come to a place of true worship before the "Lover of her soul". She is recently recorded a live-worship CD project titled “Bless His Name”. Dawn is also a requested soloist and worship leader and travels at times with one of Canada’s finest and prominent Evangelist, Rev. Marie Miller. Dawn is often called upon to lead worship at many women's ministry retreats and conferences and is also a worship leader in her home church, Evangel Pentecostal in Montreal. Presently, she volunteers as the Choir director and serves on staff as the Office Administrator. |
