simpler times of days gone by and is revered as a Canadian literary

The Confederation Bridge
The 12.9 kilometre long Confederation Bridge joins Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island and Cape Jourimain, New Brunswick across the Northumberland Straight. It is the longest
bridge over ice covered waters in the world. This historic bridge opened on May 31, 1997.

Centre of the Arts
There are a lot of interesting and exciting things to see and do
at the Confederation Centre of the Arts year-round. This is the summertime home of the Anne of Green Gables play, during the Charlottetown Festival.
Golf
In keeping with recent social trends which have precipitated a major
boom in the sport, Prince Edward Island has become one of the most
popular summertime destinations for golfers across Canada and the
USA. The crown jewel of PEI golf courses is quickly gaining
reverence as one of the top golfing destinations in North America.
The Links at Crowbush Cove, located in Lakeside on PEI's beautiful
North Shore is rated a championship calibre course and in the summer
of 1998 was the host site of the PGA Skins Game.
